Dear Bookshine Friend

Receive Christian greetings from Bookshine School, we trust that you and your family have started the new year well. As Bookshine family, we are praying that this year will bring great joy and blessings to you, your family and ministry.

By the grace of God we've had a good start of the year with good admission, despite the free secondary education that is being provided by the government to the state schools. Most of the students are very enthusiastic with their studies and are very ready to learn.

Christian Union Leaders

We've had 4 Christian Union meetings in this month with great excitement from the students to serve their God, 53 students have given their lives to Christ this month, we have also witnessed God's blessings in our daily morning and evening devotions as well and we praise God for His work.

On the extracurricular front, for the first time our students will be participating in drama and music competitions and we are looking forward for better results. Both our boys and girls soccer teams have also started well and we are trusting God for better performance this year. The students are very happy to engage in varies sports that we've introduced in the past few years and it is our great joy to see most of them doing well even after school

The results for last year's national exams were released in December and most of our candidates had exemplary results. A good number of our students will be joining local universities and colleges and we are very grateful to God for the good performance.

Student Council

With the good performance and discipline, our school has earned a great reputation, we currently have a long list of students who want to enrol in our school, but its unfortunate that we are unable to accommodate all of them. In connection to this, God has helped us to purchase a piece of land that we are hoping to build more classrooms on.

Prayer Request

1.Pray for our current candidates who will be sitting for their national exams in October and November.

2.Pray for all the students who gave their lives to Christ in this month.

3.Pray for finances to help us build more classrooms for the students.

May you experience the Lord's blessings throughout this new year.
