Food Delivery

As we are all faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, none of us can predict the long-lasting impact of this health and economical crisis. We are all impacted in one way or another, yet there are vulnerable people in our communities who were already finding it difficult to survive. Food is becoming scarce for many vulnerable groups of people, among which are vulnerable women with children, refugee people and individuals who have been sexually exploited and abused. They are stuck here in Greece with no savings, no family to help or other ways to survive. With most feeding ministries/ food banks closed down, many of these marginalised individuals are going hungry, without any food.

Now more than ever, we are called to be diligent in seeing the people God is placing in front of us and finding ways to care for them. It is in such difficult times that our sacrificial giving is “pleasing to God as we do good and share with others” (Hebrew 13:16). The simple act of providing food can make a huge difference in the lives of those less fortunate and provides us with an opportunity to share God’s love in this incredibly difficult time. Will you consider helping us provide food parcels to those in need? A one-time donation of £50 can provide a woman and her children with a week or more of food supplies! This will include longer-life items such as rice, pasta, tinned goods and groceries.
